Advanced Math
Grades 6, 7 (Pre – Algebra), & 8 (Algebra 1)
For Advanced Math, each student should have:
- 3 Ring Binder (1 inch is fine)
- A folder & a notebook
- Pencils
- Colored pen (e.g. green, purple) to correct homework
- OPTIONAL: Scientific Calculator – I recommend the Texas Instruments 30XIIS or 34 Multiview, as they seem to be the most “user friendly” that I have come across, but as long as the calculator will work with fractions it is fine.
In addition, to alleviate supply costs for the classroom, each student is requested to bring in before the end of the first school week:
2 reams of copy paper 2 boxes of tissues 1 pack of lined paper (wide or college ruled)
1 pack of graph paper (quad rule)
1 bottle of hand sanitizer or 1 package of wipes
